is that I have way too many treats in my house right now: They all go on sale at the same time in some sort of conspiracy, and the Grocery Grandma (that's what Adam so lovingly calls her) puts them on the "list" and tells me which coupon to use...and freak. What am I supposed to do? So, FYI these mixed with these equal fantastic-and I wouldn't really know that unless the Grocery Grandma had told me to buy two packs of M&Ms because they were on sale AND I had a coupon for an additional 1.00 off! Oh, the things you learn. I like to justify it by saying that I need them to teach Eli his colors...he now just asks for a "yewow" or "wed" one and obviously I know what he is talking about-that's how bad it is.
Also, and this has nothing to do with the Grocery Game but is nevertheless an awesome treat: Mix these with cup of this melted with a package of these . Make little cookies balls and freeze them and tell me if you can go a day without eating one. I can't. I totally heart the Grocery Grandma.

Hey. I love the slight makeover of the blog. I can't wait to start the grocery game once I'm regularly buying groceries...
i used to pick up a pack of almond m&ms at least every other day whilst walking through the wilk on my way to class... an excellent treat. and peanut butter m&ms and i have had a glorious love affair for years. but i'm not 102 pounds anymore, so grocery grandma or not, i think i'll prob just abstain. because greg won't eat them.
what is grocery grandma? is me not knowing what grocery grandma like someone not knowing what a blog is?? And it's a bummer you're so stocked up on m&m's...that what the prize I was going to give you for knowing the name of "lone rock" in my picture.
The other problem with the Grocery Game? Too much air freshener. I don't have food storage but I have enough air freshener storage to last me til the second coming.
So what you're really saying is that the Grocery Game really saves you nothing because you buy stuff you never needed in the first place. :) I'm so with you though, never saw a bargain that I couldn't pass up!
That is a very strange combination. It must be good though. What is this grocery grandma thing? You must share!
Yes, those chow mein noodle treats are truly one of the most deliciously addicting (and nearly nutritionally void) foods on this earth. As I told you, I was a brief grocery-gamer. My highlight was the time I bought three bottles of Lawry's marinade and two boxes of popsicles (brand name, mind you) for a grand total of $2.00. But, I just don't have the patience for it anymore.
I love the butterscotch haystacks (that's what we call them). And I think M&M is a great way to teach colors, Hallie got all the ones she got right and I ate all the ones she got wrong :)
