This is how we do (well, did) it

A few weeks ago, I made Adam go down to Disneyland for one last time. He wasn't thrilled. Naturally, it was raining. But I insisted because we have been a hundred times this year and never taken any pictures. So I wanted my photographer to come (I am not allowed to handle the nice camera anymore since I have both left it in Huntington Beach and dropped it on the tile floor) to document the fact that we ACTUALLY DID take our kid to Disneyland.

Well, as you can see, the pictures don't really do much to verify that...No character shots, no princess sightings, no giant smiles in front of the castle. You can run away from your parents, scowl, and suck on a railing pretty much anywhere. But they tell the truth: This is what Disney is like for us. And Adam couldn't be more thrilled; he now has the picture of Eli licking the railing on his screensaver, which I am going to go ahead and assert means that he thinks having to go to Disneyland was worth it.

PS Clearly a big anorak on a big pregnant stomach is a bad idea; lesson learned.

I'm just glad the rail wasn't frozen...that could have been a disaster!

Haha, remember when Eli fell into the bushes when we went? We still laugh about that. Wish we could've been there with you so joe could keep adam company. :) And you look great, even though you don't think you do.

I love the pictures-even the anorak one. And even though maybe an anorak isn't the most flattering thing in the world at 39 weeks- you look great. The close up of you and E is so cute of you, and your face is very thin!

Every time we went to Disneyland I tried to get "good" pictures and yet we went over 100 times and I think all those people who go just once have better pictures that us! I can relate

I'm glad you got your pictures of Disneyland. You got some good ones. If you can make it, you should come see Romeo and Juliet. Our shows go from March 17-27. Romeo and Juliet isn't every night, we have two other shows, it plays on 19, 22, 25, 27th night. Let me know if you are going to make it. Hope things are going well! Hope to see you soon!
