Boys rock

So we are ecstatic to be having another one! Boys have always made my life more interesting and exciting; I have always enjoyed being the only girl and I am glad that that situation is destined to continue.

The one problem? Adam and I exhausted every possible name in the UNIVERSE last time and already used the one name on which we could both agree. Help! Here are Adam's rules...(seriously, I used to think I was an opinionated person; now I think I am pretty laid back.)

1.NO verbs (so like Chase, which I love, is out)
2.No name combinations or made up names
3.No names that rhyme with anything stupid that other kids will make fun of
4.Can't end in R (our last name is Burr)
5.No names that start with D (initials would be DB)
6.No names of anyone that Adam has EVER in his life known, met, saw, talked to, heard of or imagined that wasn't cool...I double dog dare you to try and get around this last rule.

I think Adam should take a cue from his poolside experience in St. George and name the kid Bronco, Ryker, Charger, Trojan...something along those lines.

I am so excited to have another little nephew! I just hope he gets a name. How about Peyton to complete the brotherhood?

Congrats to you guys! Looks like you get all the boys and we get all the girls. Good luck with the name choosing. Just don't pick the only boy name Ben and I can agree on. Or maybe you should just use it since who knows if we will ever get to.

hahahahaha, that is so funny! I know just how you feel with the name thing. The only thing I feel is necessary is the names have to flow with eachother. You can't have a Hewitt, Linford, Harper and a BOB. You know? Well good luck with that one. hahah, and CONGRATS on the boy! I Love having all boys and being the only girl.....but I am ready to have a little princess and be done:)....I think:)

-I like the name Tyson; but I dated one in high school so I don't know about that. Hayden is cute.
-Get real Katie.
-No Peyton.
-Olivia, I won't ask what your one and only name is for fear of loving it...
-And yes. The name has to sound good with Eli and, obviously, Burr.

Ash, that is awesome! Maybe you could have another Danny! He didn't go to school for 2 hours today because he told me the teachers are always "badgering" him. Boys are funny, interesting, and especially sweet to their Moms. You are so lucky! Congrats! Kimber Lee

I hate coming up with boys names, so good luck to you. I'm going to suggest the name Benji and Jordan just because I want to know what Adam thought of my husband and son.

I do like the Peyton idea. Or you can name him after Eli and Peyton's dad. How does Archie sound?

We could stick with the quarterback theme how about Donovan? Oops, starts with a D. Ummm...Drew? Dang it. Kurt, Brett, Tom, Max? Okay. Maybe not. Good luck.

Our #2 on our boy name list was Bradley, but I'm assuming alliteration is another thing to add to Adam's list.

Hooray! How fun you guys! My dad was just as opinionated with our names as Adam is, and I know it made it difficult for my mom. I really like Benjamin and Brigham, but there are already Benjamin and Brigham Burrs if I am remembering right. I also really like the name Griffin, after Grandfather Griffin, but I think Chels likes that name too, so I don't know. Good luck!

Congrats! I'm getting my ultrasound next week! Brock was almost named Zac, or Mason, which we think are pretty manly names.
I also have 5 brothers which are totally awsome...Shawn, Preston, Sterling, Forrest, and Sheridan (although Sheridan didn't like his name growing up... but now he likes it)

Hahahaha...Loved this post, and CONGRATS! I remember you telling me that you wouldn't mind having all boys, and I guess you're getting there! So, I feel your pain. Just about everything on your list was on our list in picking a boys name. They are so hard! Especially since our last name is "Moore". WE liked Ryder, but it clashed with our last name, lol. Love Peyton. So I agree with your sis.

Honey how exciting!! Congratulations on the new little guy coming and as for names how about rex? Isn't that a family name? I love jax too!

Ok I am dying about your costco post~ one of my biggest pet peeves! I get so irritated when they ask me for my card! Of course I just walk right in even if they ask me for it. Seriously why would we be shopping there if we didn't have a membership!!

I LOVE Rex. It was my grandpa's name. And it is actually a name that Adam does not hate...The only problem is Rex Burr; kind of sounds funny. Reminds me of Idaho.

How about Mason or Ryan (maybe I just like the ones that end in "N"). I'll keep thinking...but I'm excited for another toe-head little Burr :)

I vote Mason too!!! I don't mind if you steal our name :) With Mason you can come up with tons of fun nick names, our favorite is "Mace the Face", Italian Mafia. Plus what better way to prove your love for our son than to name your child after him.
